Karbonn K495 is an entry level handset, sporting a 2.2 inch TFT based screen with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. 1.3 megapixel cameras is the default camera on this phone and there is no front camera. The handset works on GSM 900 and 1800 bands only, and cannot be used for global roaming purposes.
However, you can get connected to the internet with the help of GPRS. Internal memory of K495 is 160MB and supports a SD card to up to 8GB. The retail box includes a data charger, travel charger, 2GB SD memory card and a set of earphone. A maximum of 500 text messages can be stored in the phone. Messaging options include SMS, EMS, MMS, EMAIL and STK.
FM Radio player is also available if you are not interested in listening to the built-in MP3 player or watching videos with an MP4 player.
